Meet the Team

David McIntyre

Founder, Red 27, LLC | Founder, Foundations for Success

David is a senior learning and development professional with over 15 years of instructional design experience and nearly 20 years delivering classroom, virtual, and seminar-based training across healthcare, federal programs, insurance, telecommunications, and nonprofit sectors.

He has designed large-scale workforce initiatives, blended learning curricula, Train-the-Trainer programs, and performance support tools, helping thousands of learners achieve success in regulated, high-performance environments.

David also brings customer service experience at Apple, AT&T, and Borders, giving him firsthand insight into the skills and expectations early-career professionals need. He spent more than a decade as an on-air radio personality and in entertainment, which informs his ability to make training engaging without compromising rigor.

Lynn Nester

Workforce Training Leader | Foundations for Success

Lynn brings more than 40 years of experience in workforce development, training, and customer experience, supported by a Master’s degree in Adult Education. She began her career in frontline customer service, where she was recognized for strong performance and selected to train new employees.

Lynn has led training initiatives across utilities and insurance, achieving consistently high outcomes, including 95-100% completion and graduation rates. Her expertise spans technical training, soft-skills integration, regulatory compliance, and coaching teams to improve learner engagement and performance.

She has contributed to major utility launches, system rollouts, and workforce training programs, always ensuring that learning is practical, relevant, and aligned with real-world workplace expectations.

Phillip Rich

Instructional Designer & Curriculum Developer |  Foundations for Success

Phillip has more than 20 years of experience in instructional design, corporate training, and workforce development, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

He began in the nonprofit sector developing and facilitating leadership training for diverse audiences, eventually delivering programs to 500+ participants across multiple cities. Phillip later founded a digital content business and gained deep expertise in eLearning modules, job aids, and user-focused curriculum design.

Since 2018, he has focused on instructional design and corporate training for a federal benefits administrator, creating scalable, practical learning solutions for distributed teams. His work ensures Foundations for Success is grounded in effective, scalable, and learner-centered design.
