One Academy. Many Ways to Lead.
Foundations Leadership Academy is Foundations for Success’s home for leadership development, equipping the youth of today to be the leaders of tomorrow. It’s not a single class. It’s a growing collection of tools, resources, and training designed to help students and young adults attain and grow the leadership skills they need.
Leading yourself is just the first course, not the whole curriculum. From there, Foundations Leadership Academy meets learners where they are, whether that’s stepping into a leadership role for the first time or building the professional connections that help them go further, and gives them what they need next.
Equipping the youth of today to be the leaders of tomorrow.
Our Mission
Leading Yourself: Preparing for the Next Level
Your future should not be an accident.
Before students can effectively lead others, they must learn to lead themselves. This three-session virtual series walks students through accepting responsibility for their choices, establishing direction for their life, and building the disciplines to move toward their goals.
Leadership Starts With You
What is leadership, and why must you learn to lead yourself before trying to lead others? Leadership isn’t about being in charge. It’s about taking responsibility for creating movement in a worthwhile direction, starting with your own life.
Take the Wheel
How do everyday choices determine the direction of your life? Your future isn’t built through a few major decisions. It’s built through repeated choices, habits, and disciplines.
Lead With Direction
How do you turn what you want for your future into reality? You need a practical plan. A goal gives you direction, but a system helps you move. This session builds both and ends with a written self-leadership plan.
Three 90-minute virtual sessions. For students entering grades 10-12 and college-bound or working participants.
July 21, July 23, and July 28, all at 6 PM
